LAW DAWGS was founded in 1988 by two law
students who worked their way up through the ranks as paralegals, legal administrators,
law clerks and attorneys.
These first "LAW DAWGS" saw a
niche in the legal marketplace and a valuable untapped resource of legal support.
Originally, LAW DAWGS placed law students
with law firms to provide attorneys with valuable legal assistance and to provide the
law students with invaluable work experience outside the walls of law school. The law
clerk program proved very successful and
soon LAW DAWGS was responding to the need
for other types of legal assistance, broadening the scope of services by offering all
levels of legal support personnel.
The name "LAW DAWGS" is derived from the founders' interest in the practice of law and their fondness for the canine breed for being loyal, reliable, friendly, and "a best friend" ...hence,
